About WhatUIUX

A hands-on UI/UX learning site for developers who find design intimidating and for front-end beginners.

What we do

From spacing, alignment, color, and typography to components, motion, and responsive design, we cover 78 UI design fundamentals (line height, baseline grid, hierarchy, contrast and accessibility, and more). Each concept goes beyond a read-through: you drag sliders and flip toggles yourself to see how the values change the screen.

Design System Composer

What you learn doesn't stay scattered. The Composer lets you assemble 27 tokens — color, spacing, type, and more — into one system, and a mini landing page responds in real time. You get a feel for the idea that great products aren’t built by setting values screen by screen, but by conducting the whole thing with a handful of tokens.

How it runs

Every feature is free, and running costs are covered by ads shown on the pages. There are no accounts, payments, or subscriptions. Ads are always marked "Ad" and kept clearly separate from the learning content. For details on data handling, see the Privacy Policy.

Who makes it

WhatUIUX is built and run by SeungSeung Studio. The goal is material that lets even developers intimidated by design learn the fundamentals by eye and by hand, without a textbook. Send content corrections or suggestions to [email protected].
